My Travels

Tarragona, Spain
Beautiful small village, very quiet and serene with stunning scenery. The locals say it gets crowded if you can see more than 5 people on the same street, ha-ha! But for me, after living in London, the hustle and bustle, the noise and pollution, this has become my sanctuary, a bolthole to a peaceful place where I can stop and breathe and smell the roses.

Lido, Venice
Beautiful buildings, stylish clothes and people, (I saw a grandmother who was sleek, sophisticated, with green punked cropped hair) she looked absolutely fabulous! Amazing food and lots to do. Only downside (for me), mozzies! They love me and there is no getting away from them as you are surrounded by water. On the plus side, I love the concept of water taxis, which was great fun, and off course not forgetting, the world-famous gondolas!

Holguin, Cuba
Beautiful country with beautiful people. Humble and incredibly friendly, the locals take you into their life. The simple lifestyle, enjoying nature, what more could you possibly want! If you love hi-tech and 5* amenities this is not the place for you. This place is all about bringing you back to basics and appreciating things money can’t buy.
